Elder Lawson's Adventures in Honduras
Heleman 13:4, "And it came to pass that they would not suffer that he should enter into the city; therefore he went and got upon the wall thereof, and stretched forth his hand and cried with a loud voice, and prophesied unto the people whatsoever things the Lord put into his heart."

Happiness is, two scoops of ice cream!

Hey Peeps!

How are things in the good 'ole United States?!  Things here are going pretty swell!  People keep giving the same excuses" "I'm NEVER home" or "The church is inside us."  But it's alright, even though there is room in the Celestial Kingdom for everyone, they don't have to go if they don't want!  haha

BIG NEWS!  - The Tegucigalpa temple is on the front of Liahona/Ensign!  We got it 2 days ago and freaked out.  If you look super closely in the backround you can see my old house!  Haha ok well, not necessarily, but you can see the big Catholic Cathedral and I lived a few blocks to the left of it!  I edited a picture so you could see!  Cool beans.

Also, you know that you've been in a 3rd world country too long when a worm crawls out of your grapefruit and you keep eating it as if nothing happened....Eww?

TEMPTATION- So we walked into our lesson with one of our super awesome investigators and on the TV is none other than the greatest movie in existence.  DUMB AND DUMBER.  To make matters worse, it was the hilarious bathroom scene when Hairy is frantically trying to unclog the toilet and then Loyd steals Mary and they run up the stairs in that Hotel.  I was stunned.  Us asking him to turn off the TV was the hardest thing to do EVER.

So this week I'd like to share a story about a less active lady we've been teaching.  She was baptized about 20 years ago and even served as the Relief Society President, but about 10 years ago went innactive because of a comment that another sister made to her.  We met her about 4 weeks ago one day when we just happened to walk by her and house and decided to talk to her.  She has had some rough stuff happen to her and is really poor.  Her house doesn't have electricity and she barely has money to buy food.  She has reason to complain. I love visiting her because we always cheer her up.  We let her know that there is reason for life!  We can't just mope around all day, we need to be happy and love every blessing the Lord gives us!  It reminded me of this video:
There are so many reasons to be happy!  We can't let one reason to be sad ruin our day, week, month, year, or even life!  So be happy!  Life is sooo much more fun when you're happy:)

Love you all!
